Complimentary online STEM and coding programs designed for K-12 students now accessible
CALGARY, March 20, 2020 /CNW/ – In response to school closures across the country, MindFuel is now offering all its online K-12 STEM educational resources at no cost to all Canadians. This includes its online platforms, Wonderville English and Wonderville French, which contain large inventories of STEM learning resources, such as interactive games, live and animated videos, lesson plans, and more. Additionally, Codingville, a curriculum aimed to develop coding and digital skills, is freely accessible in Canada.
Recognizing that the country’s education system is facing extreme challenges in light of the COVID-19 health pandemic, MindFuel is eager to ease the burden that school closures have had on students, teachers and parents. By having access to MindFuel’s online resources at no cost, teachers can deliver STEM lessons via online learning and students can continue focusing on their STEM studies while they remain safe at home.

About Codingville.ca
Codingville.ca enables students (grades 1-12) to learn coding, computational thinking and STEAM concepts with helpful tools and coding activities, designed to engage students of all ages in game-based learning and to enhance skills development. At the end of each course, students can create and share their very own applications/games they have built themselves! In addition, teachers have access to a teacher-training course, designed to support teachers’ abilities to confidently deliver coding in the classroom and support students on their coding adventure.
