As part of NSERCs Science Literacy Week and the kickoff to the MindFuel Tech Futures Challenge, MindFuel is hosting an on-line professional learning workshop that will highlight the key elements that make Project Based Learning (PBL) a successful pedagogical approach in 21st century STEM education.

This workshop will demonstrate the use of project based learning to teach about the impact of biodiversity, particularly with a focus on the UN SDGs and how it relates to the topic of Biodiversity.

– Understand the essence of PBL and what makes it successful

– Participate in a PBL activity from a student perspective

– Have the opportunity to plan, network and collaborate with other educators

This professional learning workshop is open to Grade 7-12 Educators and is an interactive online event. All resources will be available prior to the event.
