Ovulation Detector – our project is designed to monitor the levels of three or more hormones that spike during ovulation

The goal of project was to create a detection system that would monitor the levels of three or more hormones that spike during ovulation. We did a lot of research around Luteinizing hormone and developed a concept on how we would include this in our product; however, the technology and knowledge needed to bring this idea to life were beyond what we could do this year. We then turned our attention to measuring Estrogen levels and were able to design an estrogen receptor construct and find a system from another iGEM team that we would like to modify (Part:BBa_K1732015) in order to measure Estrogen levels.
